Identify & implement the long term planning of future training activities for workshop colleagues.
Carry out warranty repairs as directed, returning displaced material to the correct location and in correct condition.
Compiling and maintaining a resource plan for the workshop and developing concepts and measures for load optimisation
Ensuring planning for facilities, bays, machines, tools, diagnosis installations, etc. is carried out correctly; optimal design of workplaces and processes
Employing new staff and developing an induction plan
Managing, coaching and motivating employees and thus ensuring a high quality of employees
Defining target agreements with employees and reviewing the level of target achievement through regular 1-2-1’s.
Monitoring and optimising productivity and performance of employees
Ensuring job time planning and task allocation for workshop is carried out correctly
Monitoring compliance with all statutory regulations * Ensuring quality control of all completed tasks.

Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence
Motor Industry experience in a similar role is essential
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work to timescales effectively
Keen eye for detail, good communication and a passion for delivering great customer service
Experience in a main dealer environment
Strong industry knowledge
Ability to work under pressure
